Travel is part of how I create.
I travel to historic places, ancient cities and landscapes connected to the stories that shape my work.
Experiencing them firsthand changes the way I understand a subject — its atmosphere, scale, traces of the past and the feeling it leaves behind.
I carry those impressions back to the studio, where they become drawings, paintings and new works.

Each commission is individually created. Small adjustments can be discussed during the initial concept stage, while the final artistic interpretation remains part of the artist's creative process.

The composition and direction are discussed before the final artwork begins. Because every piece is created traditionally by hand, the final interpretation remains part of the artist's creative process.

THE ARTIST
I am Haris Fytoziadis, a traditional artist based in Greece.
Growing up in Germany and living in Greece has shaped the way I see history, culture and place.
My work explores figures, memory, mythology and faith through traditional drawing and painting.
Travel is an important part of how I create. I seek out historic places, ancient cities and landscapes connected to the stories that interest me, carrying those impressions back into the studio.
Each work is built slowly by hand — through observation, line, texture and time.
